Knitwear, baby!

Hey, all!
I've taken a slight break from jewelry-making to knit a bit. I'm making some warm accessories because it's getting SOOO cold here right now. It's certainly nose-biting frosty weather, and my ears and hands are suffering without some cute knits to warm them. Below is a headband/earwarmer I invented & made today - simple, versatile, yet popping with color. Definitely a relief amidst the grey weather and dark British clothing.

Size: 19.5" circumference, 2.75" width before stretching. 
Yarn: chunky Cygnet yarn.
Pattern: basketweave stitch. 
Machine Washable?: YES!
